Victorian Angels, Xmas Cards, Kewpies & Rooselvet Bears

Hi again ladies,,,,I was solving some problems with my Zen Cart,,,,,but now all is working fine again,,,,,,,So this time I must ask you "Do you believe in angels?" if so, then you´ll love this new "Victorian Angel Postcards" ,,,,,,, in my collection. I ask to Lori to create some adorable Angel Card and here is the result.

Angels We Have Heard On High

Sweet, sweet angels...aren't they darling? Every Christmas, I must do at least one angel card. I like that this image allowed me to use some non-traditional Christmas colors.

You've probably already figured out that these sweet angels are an image from Nicecrane Designs. You figured that out, because Ignacio offers such wonderful vintage images!

Take a look to some single picts on the Sheet

Now ....enjpoy with a new Kewpie Card by Kate Wiles,,,,,,I really adore her stunning style,,,,

More Kewpies!!

Good morning to you all

I wanted to start by saying thank you for all your lovely comments on my last creation with the Kewpies and do hope you hopped over to the Nicecrane Designs Blog for a peek at the gorgeous inspiration.

Today I have another card made from the same set of Kewpies, just as lovely to colour, but on this one decided to follow the sketch at  Papertake Weekly

So here is what I made

It is a generic card and you can find these images here

There are many more gorgeous images in the storeNicecrane Designs

The base layer and contrast is yellow with those gorgeous purple top layers. I have used some beautiful lace that I got at the Doncaster Dome, when I was on some retail therapy and the nestie is one of the newer grand decorative ovals. The pearl flourishes, tiny tiny and tiny pearls (look closely at the sizes as the tiny tiny ones are great value and you get so many of them) the cherry blossom and Pearl Medallion are all from the Hobby House. The yellow ribbon is from Grimsby Crafts.

So,,,,,I am showing you her stunning work here:

The Roosevelt Bears

I printed my image off and then coloured it using a damp paint brush and ink. I added some distressing ink just around the edges of the image to give it an aged look. I then mat and layered my card and added some bits and bobs for embellishments.

Again, I have just printed off my image and coloured it using inks and a damp paint brush. I then added some distressing inks around the edges of the card and up to the edge of the image. I typed up and printed out the “singing the blue” sentiment.

I think this is one of my favourites of the digi stamps sheet.

I printed off my image and just coloured it in with some inks and a damp paint brush. I then just gathered up lots of bits of scrap papers etc and layered my card up.

I made this card the same way as the other previous cards. I just printed out myNicecrane Designs Digi Stamp, coloured it in with ink using a damp paint brush. I have typed up the Free Range Eggs on the computer and cut it out to make the embellishment.

I added distressing inks around the outside edge of my image and rubber stamped some postage marks.

To tie into the theme and looking at the bear’s big tummy, I added a belt across the bottom of the card to make more of the sentiment. To make the belt all I have done is cut a piece of scrap paper to size, punched some holes in it and then distressed the edges. To make up my card, I gathered together all little bits of scrap and then layered my card up.

And here are my funny Rooselvet Bears Collection
