Autum Colors and Nature

Sally`s eyes was drawn once more to those lovely images from Nicecrane designs, and the pile of gelli print papers I had made a little while ago. This is what I came up with.

Two tiny creatures on this one! The leaves were cut with a joy crafts die, and the gelli papers were created with Docrafts paint and Inkylicious stamps.

Vintage Ladies Cards (Victorian Style)

Florence at my DT was working with my  to create these two cards using "Heny Hutt`s Ladies CS"
getting a real antIque and elegant look.

I made these cards quite a while and I am just doing a bit of crafting house keeping at the moment.

Victorian Cards by Florence working with Henry Hutt`s Women

I added a little vintage scrap to the bottom righthand corner of the card as an embellishment.

This is the Nicecrane Designs Image sheet that I have used for these cards. I also made these other cards HERE using the same digital image.

Creating Vintage Boxes

Tracy is now on my Team and she love the vintage images, they are absolutely gorgeous. His site is well worth looking at, I'm sure you'll see something utterly fabulous. Do go and take a look. I decided to do something different to a card, and decorated a plain box. So take a look to her incredible and stunning decorated vintage box wporking with my "Sugar & Spice  DSL II"

A really stunning Vintage Box by Tracy

I used some antique looking lace, with strung pearls around the bottom of the box, burgandy and cream ribbons around the lid. My papers were distressed around all the edges for that vintage look.

I made my own flowers using pages from an old book, and distressing, misting with perfect pearls and finishing with some stickles.I love decorating boxes and this will be filled with something nice for a Christmas present.
Do you need some inspiration???????

Mini Halloween Treat Cones (more ideas)

Directly from Toni`s Blog ........"I decided that I wanted something a little smaller than the original sized item (normally one cone is printed on a sheet of A4) so I printed four pages on one sheet of A4..."

...and ended up with these cute little cones - little more than 2.5inches in height.

Why so small I can hear you asking...

Well, I have been haunting (groans are allowed at this awful pun) the £1 and 99p shops and have collected a variety of bits-n-pieces suitable for spooky home décor.

I've been having a whale of a time collecting spooky menu boards, mini lighting sets, creepy-crawlies of all shapes and sizes and my favourite piece of all...

...my wire glitter tree...

...the mini cones fit on here really nicely.
I love my little tree - it is just under 12inches high but I will be able to load it with a few more cones than are shown here...

...and the cones are just big enough to fill with some popcorn...

...Don't you think this would be a fun buffet table decoration, with each cone containing just a taster of some treat or another.

One of my favourite things from Nicecrane is the "Treat cones". These can be printed off and made up with as little or as much decoration as you wish - ready to fill with sweets/treats.
