Enchanted Spring Sheet, Butterfliy Twinchies & Nature notes

Spring is on the Air

Brenda at my DT was working  really hard on this week working with my new sheet,so I can`t miss the opportunity to showcase her amazing and stunning work: This one I was initially making with the three die cut shapes. Two images from the same design sheet called "Enchanted Spring" and a Penny Black sentiment in the centre. I stamped the base with a Penny Black background stamp, randomly added some grunge paste through a mask...........not terribly tidily as you can see, then matted the images, sentiment and finally a bow, flower, metal leaves and butterflies which come from Nicecrane's Butterfly Twinchie design sheet (also found below).

BUT THERE ARE MORE SPRING CARDS WOW,WOWWW:

I am falling in love with this Spring Tunnel Card by Brenda

Decoupage Effect

The one was made using the waste left from cutting a TH Cabinet frame for the card below, I had the offcuts laying on my desk for a day or so and knew there must be a way of using them and came up with the idea.................about 2am as you do if you dream cardmaking as I gather many of us do..........of making them into a type of tunnel card by scoring a piece of card for the base and adhering it to the back of the aperture section. I printed the design three times and decoupaged the little girl and added die cut vines and roses around the front and am actually quite pleased with the finished result. And the good thing is it flatens to go into an envelope.

And,,,,,,,That is not all,,,,she did a Thrid Spring Card:

And just the one more and again a photo beautifully enhanced by Ignacio using another of the images from the same design sheet along with Kaisercraft DP which picks out the image colours perfectly.

Now I am showing you some previous works with my Butterflies Sheet

Birthday Wished on Spring Season
Pia from Pias Papir og Perler did this amazing creation with my "Nature Notes sheets" based on the famous book by Edit Holden....wow,wwwwow,,

Thursday means a new challenge over at the Outlawz Twisted Thursday. And a new month means new sponsors. For March we've gotNicecrane Designs and Paper Temptress, and for a chance to win you need to enter a project. It's Anything Goes every week, with an optional twist. Using the twist will earn you a second entry in the draw, and this week it's "your favorite color". You would think it's an easy one, but for me it was too hard to choose between purple, yellow and orange, so I added a bit of all!
The image is a topper from Nicecrane, you can find it here. The DPs are various scraps, the Whimsy Stamps sentiment is heat embossed with yellow EP and flowers are from Storyteller. Bling and metal frame from my stash, leaves made using a MB die. And the stitching is made using a metallic gold thread.
