Nicecrane meets Cricut & Tags

Now for a bit of Halloween and some of Ignacios Nicecrane Designs called "Spooky Halloween " and he has enhanced my photos with a bit of his magic and I think it really makes them pop and adds a bit more of an eerie feel as well. The top piece is a tag which I cut on the Cricut, inked with distress inks Ripe Persimonne and Black Soot, some random background stamping with Chocolate Baroque stamps, the image from the sheet and a Sizzix TH tattered floral and leaves from the tattered pinecone die.

GET SPOOKY HALLOWEEN CS

My second piece is a card using another of the Halloween image sheets calle  "Halloween & Kids"    and the base card with the spiders web edge was cut on the cricut using the Ribbons and Rosettes cartridge and some Pan Pastels used to colour it and the original wicked witch across the top is from the Autumn Celebrations cartridge.

Boo Bag and Vintage Halloween Sheet

I have such fond memories of Halloween - especially when Lauren was little. Her second  Halloween  , we had a small party and the highlight was all of my family stationed in different rooms of the house, so the kids and their parents could trick or treat. Lauren was dressed as a pumpkin, as was most of the other kids! Must have been the in thing for 1987...

Nicecrane Designs has some awesome Halloween images. Love the scary pumpkins right outside the window in this one. She's from the Vintage Halloween set. This bag is super easy to make. All the pieces are separate - that way it's easy to fill, too!

The bow template is from The Cutting Cafe and the green papers are fromLilly Bimble. I've had the orange paper for so long that I don't even have a clue where it's from! I printed the green and black dot on regular copy paper to create the bag. Folded a doily over the top and used a clothespin to clip on the bow and the image. Kewpies at School, Old School Days & Crazy Markers

It is time to back to School , so I have designed anew Kewpie Sheet called "Kewpies at School" to create amazing and all over adorable and sweet School Cards, and anything you can imagine. Enjooy watching tje work with these unique creatures.

Jane  made a his and her's bookmark using some Nicecrane Designs The Kewpie is from the Kewpie at School collection here and the vintage boys' one is from the Old School days collection available here.I printed them onto Kraft paper and then just added a tiny bit of Sepia and White Primacolor pencil to highlight them. I inked the edges with vintage photograph Distress Ink and added a few of my favourite Cheery Lynn leaf die cuts. The other edges are a MS punch.Cream and black ribbons finished them off.

Hi folks, a little while ago I received a lovely email from Ignacio of Nicecrane Designs and he gave me a lovely set of Original Vintage Ladies to 'play' with. But,as you know, time has been a little short for 'playing' - been so busy with Wedding Stationery, that it has taken until now to use these lovely images.
I have five 'girl friends' birthdays this month, so decided this was a good place to start using the images, not sure of the DP, embossed and sanded 2 toning co'ordinations, some lace and a few flowers. Its such a pretty image, it didn't need anything more!

COLORFUL NATURE CARDS

You know I love Nature and birds,,,so I am showing the work by Sally,,,,,,working with two Nature sheets from my stuff,.Enjopy watching these beautiful and so elegant Nature Cards.

After seeing Brenda's post here and Lynne's post here, I thought I'd better go and check outNicecrane Designs...what a lot of gorgeous images there are! I spent a bit, but the lovely Ignacio gave me some freebies too. They are instant downloads, so very quick and great when you want a card in a hurry!

The images on these two cards are from a sheet called 'Colorful Nature'. I just loved the vintage feel and the gorgeously crisp images. I know I love stamping, but using images like this still means you can stamp the background or base card. I used the worn paint stamp and the delicate vine from Inkylicious. The inks were bundled sage, shabby shutters and rusty hinge DI, with memento olive grove to stamp the vine. The various scraps of paper and card used to mat and layer were all from my snippets drawers, which are very full at the moment!
