Butterfly Card, Punky Dunk,Cute Babies & FREEBIE

Kylie was working with my bright colorful "Garden & Orchad " CS to create this unique Butterfly Card: I was able to get my printer working just in time and have wanted to make a card for ages with this image from our sponsor at Nicecrane Designs -

Here is my 1st card 

This butterfly is from a sheet called Garden and Orchards. It contains 10 different coloured images.

I have used Chocolate Chip cardstock for my base. I have distressed the edges and curled them over on my First Edition Print DSP (can you tell the writing is all about butterflies?). The oval frame is another from my gift from Phillipa (aren't they getting good use at the moment?). The flowers are from Inspired by Stamping. The sentiment is from my Banner Greetings set and inked with Baked Sugar.

Anything Goes at Addicted to Stamps and More!

Hi friends! Time for everyone's favorite, Anything Goes, at Addicted to Stamps and More! We are glad to have Nicecrane Designs sponsoring us again and I've used an adorable image from Nicecrane collage sheet called Born to Be Wild. These images are so cute... And loved by adults and kids, I've tested! :) My card is pretty much a straightforward vintage card -the colors are not very muted though and maybe the twine adds a bit funkier touch than a traditional ribbon would have added. I try to avoid my vintage cards looking too much "grandma style"... But my faves -doilies and lace- are present of course.

I made a little story book as a keepsake using the Punky Dunk And The Gold Fish Set.

Below is a little overview of most of the book’s pages. I arranged the images in a way that they would tell a little story and kept the embellishments to a minimum to let the story shine through. As I was planning this project, a couple of friends came to mind, who are cat lovers and recently lost their great feline companion …

The tag on this first page fits in behind the little poem

For the background I used stamps and pretty paper. I also added my own titles which I made up on my computer.

My embellishments are made up of die-cut shapes, pearls and candi.

I am falling in lovw with each page,,,,,,OMG

And....more,,,,and more creative pages,,,

I also left some space to add a personal message or two …

It's time for Make Your Mark Challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More! It's one of our favorite challenges: anything goes with markers, pencils, crayons... Coloring medium of any kind! I used my favorite markers, Copics, to color in this pretty girl from Whimsy Stamps. Please click on the photo for closer look if you want! Behind my image I'm using designer paper from Lavanda Paperpack by Nicecrane Designs -we are happy to have Nicecrane Designs as our sponsor once again! My card is quite embellished with layers, pearls, doily and punched flowers and leaves. Hope you like!
