Use my Halloween Tags to add some fun to your Art

Catherine did this stunning Pumpking and she added my funny tags to get the perfect one.I had so much fun making this little treat box ! I found the inspiration here... Here is what I have made...

Recipe : For the texture of the pumpkin, I have used an embossing folder from Cuttle Bug. I think it is called "Candy Cane Stripes" - Leaves : Dies from Obsession - Flourishes : Dies from Sizzix - Sentiment from Nicecrane Designs ("Halloween Tags" Collection).

Mitra Lee was working also with my Halloween Tags adding them to her adorable Halloween Scrap page,,, I am so happy she used them,,,,,,,,wow,wowwww,,, they lok great,,,,,,,Horayyy for Mitra.

did make good use of a few of the graphics that were included to make some neat brads out of. Also, those are his digital stamps on the side of my layout!

My super favorite part of this page are my vellum flowers and that photo I took of Tommy, Luke's friend.
He was eating a cookie from The Bagelry. Every year they give out sugar cookies and little baggies full of candy & allow you to frost one there. They are delicious! Told him to give me a serious cookie eating face and he sure did!I am loving this pale blue green shade lately, paired up with gold and silver.  Also had put the Halloween paper away so decided to do a Halloweenie layout with non-traditional colors.

I did sneak a witch, owl, and a couple of cool digital stamps on my page! Ignacio sent me the coolest file the other day from Nicecrane Designs. His Vintage Halloween Treat Cone is awesome, but I did not get a chance to make the actual cone.

And............. waht about these stunning Tags by Jane?  I  tied each "couple" together with a hand made Halloween tag.

You will have seen the tag on the right on my blog a few weeks ago, the one on the left is new and is my card challenge entry for today. It is also a my DT Guest Design card for Nicecrane and uses another of the fab coloured images from the Halloween and kids colour sheet.

Here is my tag in close up. Those pumpkins are such fun aren't they.

The leaf and lace edge die cuts are Cheery Lynn and the branch is one I won from Marianne. The fun sentiment is from the Halloween Grunge sentiment set by Nicecrane and can be bought here. My tag was made from that same single sheet of Inky play which I made in my studio.....this photo was taken when I was still putting together my other autumn inky projects which you will recognize over the last month. I had one last piece of the distress ink backing card I made left to create this tag ;0)



I love seeing people's creative space so I thought I would share mine in my studio on an autumn day a few weeks ago. I have used up all my autumn hand made papers ready for winter and Christmas to take over

About Fairies and Angels

Helene did a really so adorable and all over so vintage and elegant Fairy Card,,:I was generously given a choice of images from Nicecrane Designs and wow, the choice was hard! So many gorgeous sheets!! But finally I settled for The Fairies and Angels save pack. The images are so detailed and crisp and I absolutely love the vintage feel so of course I had to make a card right away!
With a Marianne die as background, a bow and some flowers the image makes a wonderful focal point.

Altering images to get the perfect look

Florence at my DT was altering my image sheets with PSE to get a better look,, and enjoyed playing with this cute picts.I have slightly changed the images using PSE. At the moment I am not putting on the blog how I am changing these images ie., the levels etc but if enough interest is shown then I will. In the meantime if anyone has any questions about my alterations to the images please give me a shout.

To create the little musical circles I have just used the eraser. To put my own mark on this I have added the word memories down the left hand side.

I was quite pleased with how these mono cards turned out. I thought it would just make a change for this year.

For my last card today I have gone for all colour. I slightly softened this image. I added all little bits and bobs from my scrap box. The number 25 came off the calendar. Again I used the eraser tool to make some magic sparkle circles. I do think that the effect lifts the image a little.
