A Little Book Box...
Catherine has just finsihed this TRUE PLAY OF ART,,,,,,I've found a free template for a book box on By Donovan's site and I had to make one straight away ! It will be just perfect to keep my USB sticks in !
Enjoy this really stunning creation and feel inspired.
Recipe : Papers from my stash - Image from Nicecrane Designs ("Cozy Corner" Collection - The images of this set are gorgeous...) - Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts - Ribbon fromLive and Love Crafts.
My little box will enter the challenge "Brown" with The Ribbon Girl, the challenge "Anything Goes" with Rhedd and Rosie and the challenge with Bearly Mine as I have used their sketch for the cover of the box, here it is...
Happy Crafting !
SM #68 - Color Challenge {Certainly Celery, Basic Black & More Mustard}
I opted for a very clean design so that the image really took front and center on the card, and added just the "teensiest" touches of color to the image using a blender pen and ink pads. My designer paper is from a retired collection called Spice Cake (Stampin Up!) - loved that paper for its rich fall colors. I have enough still to make a matching envelope too! I think this will make a great Thanksgiving card - or Thank You card. Haven't decided yet which - so I left the inside blank for now.
HERE is the adorable sheet use

Halloween Pumpkins
Monika Skinner was working with my Halloween Pumpkins DSL,,,,to create this unnusual Halloween Card & Tag, I am falling in lovw with these unique and elegant colors,,,,woww, wowww
For this week’s DT piece I went for a Halloween inspired theme, here it is:
For my card this week I used one image from the delightful Halloween Pumpkins and some digital papers called Grunge Fantasy Paper Pack, both from Nicecrane Designs. Both are perfectly suited for making some beautiful cards for this week’s colour challenge … and because I had so much fun making the card … I made a matching tag too!
I coloured my image using Promarkers for skin and shadow and Spectrum Noir pens for the green and mustard touches. I then cut my images out and blended the edges with mustard ink. For the layered background I punched a border using the green paper from the pack, and I also cut a piece of the black/grey and the black/green paper for layering. (My black/green paper looks more black/mustard, but then my magenta ink was close to running out. In fact I had to replace it after the sheet had printed). I also punched a lace border, a flower and some leaves from black card and some more smaller flowers from celery and mustard card. I then distressed the edges of my white base card with some black ink and blended the edges of my papers, but not the border, with black ink too before layering as shown and finishing off by adding some black pearls.
For the tag I cut some black card into a tag shape, layered as shown and added pearls and a length of black distressed celery ribbon to finish.

You can`t miss these Altered Cards(Digitally) by Florence
For my second card I cut the little clown out and decoupaged it up a little. Talking of decoupage….Hello Rita…Hope you are ok. Rita likes decoupage. I made a little white collar just for more depth.
This card is dedicated to my lovely blogging friend Cathryn who has been really poorly. Thinking of you Cathryn and take care.
I wanted something a bit quirky with this. I love the surreal artwork. It just fascinates me. Especially the works by artists such as Christian Schloe and Catrin Welz Stein. So, I took inspiration from that style and added the fish swimming in the sky.
And Here is my Spooky Halloween Save Pack
24 STUNNING HALLOWEEN PICTURES
I lightened and altered this image. It’s not really a Halloween card but I thought the colours suit the theme and it could easily be altered into a halloween card.I stamped around the edges of my image with a floral florish.
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Halloween my friends
