Amazing Peter Rabbit Easter Card  by Catherine

Recipe : Papers from Santoro ("Mirabelle" Collection. They are gorgeous ! And they are even cheaper if you buy them from Cutting Edge Crafts. I have bought from them for years now : the P and P is free and most of the time they deliver the next day... What more could you ask for ?) - For the shape of the card and the inside I have used the Vintage Cabinet Card die and the Mini Cabinet die from Tim Holtz. I bought them from Cutting Edge too ! - Image from Nicecrane Designs ("Vintage Colourful Peter Rabbit" Collection) - Butterfly from Digital Collage Sheets - Clock from Calico Collage - Sentiment from Lisa's Altered Art - Flowers and Ribbon from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Colorful Spring Card by Vicky,,,,wow,woww

I really love this set as you know since I have shown last week a card that I had make with it. It's a fabulous set for spring and the image that I used today couldn't be more appropriate for spring! To me spring = tulips, in all sorts of beautiful colors!

Again this week, I decided to make a smaller card. I'm really loving those at the moment! They allow me to use my scraps and they are much less costly for the shipping.

These are Henderson's Giant Flowering Volume I and Volume II

But flowers wouldn't be complete without butterflies so I've also included the Nicecrane Designs Butterfly Twinchies

About  Fairies & Angels

Tracy Thompson sent me this amazing Fairy Box, working with my "About Fairy & Angels" sheets", so directly from her blog: Good Morning bloggers, it's Saturday morning so It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts. This week is our lovely Sarah's turn to host and she would like to see 'Pretty In Pink'. Here is what I did, I used a Nicecrane image (one of our sponsors),

A True Tresure Fairy Box by Tracy Thompson

I decided to decorate a plain box, kept it vintage in keeping with the image. I added flowers and lace, and some flonz butterflies that I stamped and coloured. Lots of distress inks were used and I over stamped on my patterened papers too.

Original box

Don't forget to head over to Allsorts for all the details of this challenge, and to check out all the fabulous inspiration from my very talented team mates.

Helene also used this sheet to create the following  creation,,,,,,Thaksss a million my friend: I made an envelope card and since we are sponsored by Passion for Stamps and Nicecrane I decided to use one of the images from the Angels and Fairies series from Nicecrane Designs

Henderson Giant Flowering , Spring Products & Dundelion Clock

Do you remember those...

Directly from Toni`s blog.....You know...the ones when you were a child and the most important things in your life were being able to play out in the garden, sit on the grass making daisy chains, checking to see if your best friend liked butter by holding a buttercup under their chin and listening out for the tinkling of your favourite ice-cream van.

With the very dull, wet Winter we have been experiencing in the UK those days seem so very long ago and you start to imagine whether they ever existed - luckily (or not, as the case may be) most of us have photos that our parents took to prove that they did...

I remember pretty Spring flowers bursting in the flower beds followed by the crowded shows of all the Summer colours.

If you feel the need for some of that colour in your lives at the moment, hop on over to the Nicecrane Design site as Ignacio has added some wonderful new design sheets to his collection.

From beautiful coloured studies like this...

- to glorious coloured images like this...

- all the sheets are full of glorious coloured images for you to use in your card making and crafting.

However, Ignacio doesn't just provide beautiful pre-coloured images - he has a fabulous selection of digi-stamp images that you can colour yourselves...

...But best of all...

ENJOY MY NEW SPRING SHEET

I must tell you I adore Spring,,,so I have designed a new vintage sheet called ..."Dandelion Clocks", a set that contains this adorable little chap...and I asked to Toni to color some of the vintage and adorable images on the collection,,,and here is her stunning work,,,,,,wow, wow, woww,,,

You can miss her absolutely amazing coloring

Colored "Dundelion Clock" Image by Toni

...oh how he reminded me of those sunny days when we would pick the dandelion clocks and blow them so that we could watch the 'fairies' float off on the breeze...my granddad would get so cross if we did it in his garden - we didn't realise that we were spreading the dandelions and this would cause him more work trying to keep the lawn weed-free **chuckle**.I thought this little chap was perfect to decorate this journal...

...so keeping it simple, I die-cut the image using a Spellbinders scalloped oval and inked the edge with Vintage paper Distress ink...

,,,this image is a lovely reminder of times past so I thought it went well with the time themed covering of the journal.

Coloring Tutorial by Toni

Due on demand I am sharing again my amazing Enchanted Spring FREEBIE for you, and now directly from Toni's blog :I loved the image in the top left of the pre-view sheet shown above but it wasn't the colour that I wanted. The fabulous Ignacio sent me a digi-stamp version and this is what I did...

...I have coloured the image using Spectrum Noir alcohol pens. I have softened the colour of the flowers around the edge by making them more of a peach shade and I have changed the colour of the character's outfit to turquoise but that wasn't all that I did. Whilst colouring, I wondered what the image would look like in more sepia tones...

.
..using the brown-greys (BG) from the grey range and FS1 from the flesh range, I started to colour the image again...

...gradually adding deeper shades and starting to blend them in with the use of the FS1 and the Blender pen...

...the brown-greys come in 10 shades but I thought it would be too dull to leave it at this, so I added some of the lighter tan shades - TN1, TN2, TN3 and TN4 to brighten the image...

...and as you can see, this image looks very different from the first one I did with the turquoise dress.

Don't be afraid to 'play' with colour - what is the worst that can happen? You waste some time and possibly spoil a bit of CS but you will have learnt what works for you and what doesn't

Ignacio very kindly sent me a little something to share with you...

...here's your chance to grab your very own freebie - Download here.

Spcial Thanks to Toni for these incredible work.....

Vicky Fortier at my DT also was working with my amazing "Henderson`s Giant Flowering Sheets" and you can`t miss her unique flowerd card: Hello everyone I'm here to share with you a little creation made with a digi from Nicecrane Design I'm trying to attract the spring! And I figured that with a fresh feel it would come.

The digi that I used is found as part of this gorgeous set of precolored digis:

I didn't do much to this card! I just put some little lace from Inspired by stamping. I really wanted to leave the center stage to the digi. I also wanted to be able to use it for all kinds of occasions that's why I didn't put a sentiment on it. I'm really loving those smaller cards! They are so versatile and fast to make with such delightful digis!!!
