About the Great Wave
Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849) created this extraordinary picture around 1831. It is known as The Great Wave Off Kanagawa (Fugaku sanjurokkei: Kanagawaoki namiura). It is a fairly small (10 x 15 in or 25.4 x 37.1 cm) colour woodcut. The original is at the Hakone Museum in Japan. Here are some of their beautiful woodblocks

I came from Kevin's blog to view your new folded book marks. What a clever idea. I love both of the 2 new designs. People don't usually throw away my cards but not they could be useful for everyone!
Great idea, a different kind of bookmark! Very special and very beautiful!
Wow those bookmarks are so clever I am going to have to give that a go! and your card has really got the vintage feel.
Thank you for joining us at Bearly Mine and good luck.
