I asked to Lori Hairston to create some sweetie Easter Card
Soft and sweet - that's what came to mind when I saw this darling image at Nicecrane Designs.
I knew it would make the sweetest Easter card. The sentiment is a stamp from a new set at Paper Sweeties. I ended up printing the image three times so I would have pieces to layer.
Here you can see the preview for the Vintage Easter Bunnies set with some of the other images too:
Some previous works with this collection by Lisa Minckler
Each rabbit is cut out with a spellbinders, a layer of UTEE applied over
each picture and then the edges were rolled in VersaMark and gold
powder embossed as well. All were mounted to a matching
die cut shape just a bit larger. The backings were covered
in gesso and then painted over with cream and blue acrylic paint.
Flowers and leaves are the additional embellishments as well as gold
Stickles and a ribbon handle to make the most adorable Easter ornaments.

Its been a busy time in the creating department of late. I was asked to be a Guest Designer for Nicecrane Designs, and thought it would be nice to combine the gorgeous images, with the beautiful dies available through Cheery Lynn Designs.
The image is called 'Woman, Vintage, Fashion #1', and can be found 'HERE'.
You can also see the Blog, 'HERE' for more inspiration.
The base of my card is built on the Mini Pearl French Flair Mega Doily Series, then topped with the French Pastry Doily. The corners of the Mini Pearl French Flair have been covered using the Lace Corner Deco E, which I cut slightly for a perfect fit.
The flower cluster was created using the Miniature, Mediumand Large Rose - bending each petal into shape to form the rose. I added a few little stamens into the middle for a more realistic appearance. Leaves from the Build A Flower #2 were used beneath the rose, as well as the Flourish Leaf Strip. The small flowers from the Build A Flower Embellishment #2 were adhered, and seed beads added to the centres of each flower to complete the arrangement.
The challenge over on the Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge Blogthis week is Halloween, so pop on over and see all the DT creations, and perhaps enter yourself. You have a chance of winning a fantastic prize!
