Sure, sure it is Spring Time,, and I am sure you love flowers, birds and so,,,,,,,,,,. I asked to some of my DT members to create with my new Spring & Summer Sheets and here is the result.:
First of all Anne did this stunning Flower Card working with my " Vintage Flowers DSL", I am falling in love with her incredible colorization,,,,,OMG they look as real flowers,,,so bright colors,,,,,so amazing......it is a must have to watch this card. Directly from her blog:
"We have been having such lovely weather these last few days, I am beginning to believe that Summer really is on it's way despite the fact that our garden is still full of Spring daffodils......and the woods are full of bluebells. Before the Spring flowers are gone I wanted to use a beautiful daffodil image from Nicecrane Designs. This is my second Design Team post for Nicecrane and I loved making this cabinet card. I hope you will like it too."
The image was coloured using Inktense Watersoluble Ink Pencils, then fussy cut and mounted over the frame. To finish off I coloured some vintage ribbon with Wild Honey Distress Stain and I added 'thank you' from Tim's Chit Chat words.
Bird Card by Carole
The roses were made using cream paper die cut using the largest of Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms, inked using aged mahogany.
I have to say that this image was a joy to colour, I love to colour animals and birds, so this was a great project for me. Check back in a few days and I will have a completely different project, with a little freebie for you!
I choose to use a wooden heart I covered the base with some white Gesso, then added a film of lace.. the image I used was from Nicecrane designs I hope the pic does these Beautiful birds justice... the base of the flower I made out of some muslin cloth and dyed it in some coffee (it smells lovely) then added a small burlap flower to the top..I stamped the little sentiment (creative expressions stamp) onto fabric...the lace & pearls & little egg-nest are from my stash...... I hope you like it...
