Country Living Spring Fair

Jane at my DT did this awesome and floral,,,,,Spring card: My day out at the Country Living Spring Fair was such fun. I met my Mum for a coffee first in the coffee shop there and we then spent the next several hours wandering around the British Design Centre.

There were lots of different stall holders there and it was lovely to see some unique products. The building itself is modelled on the old Agriculture Hall which stood there in there 1800s. The stained glass window still remains.

Showing how their chocolate is produced from pod to pack and yes there was lots of free tasting, well we could not say no could we? 

My challenge card today is still all about spring and is another GD card for Ignacio of Nicecrane Designs. I just love his new designs and my card today uses another image from the super Enchanted Spring set available here

I have used my Floral oval die which I have distressed. The DPs are from my stash. I have added a lovely ivy die cut made from a spare piece of hand inked paper. I also added a couple of CL blossoms with brads in their centres and a LOTV sentiment tag.

Here is that gorgeous image in close up. I wonder how many Easter eggs will fill their bags and bucket?

From Brenda`s blog During the last week I have been lucky enough to play with another new release from Nicecrane, this time from the Edwardian Lady range which takes me back many years to when it was so popular and we had some M&S bedlinen featuring the designs. For the creation at the top of mu post I combined some of the images from this sheet with one of the Fairies and also an Elf from another design sheet, sponged a sun with Pan Pastels, added some stamped wheat and leaves to the frame which I made on the scoreboard and used a arch die to cut the aperture. The toadstools and Elf have all been decoupaged and a TH branch bird and tie across the top.

Although she produced many postcard designs for Mansell, Nina does not appear to have worked for other postcard publishers. She illustrated many books,  including some editions of the 'Chalet School' series by Elinor Brent Dyer and also a number of books by Elizabeth Clark as well as many children's annuals.
