It Is Great To Be Nice
My friend Birgit was working wiht latest cute Kitten Sheets (below) :Today I have the pleasure of being a guest designer for Stamping Sensation along with Brenda and her amazing Design Team. I won their January challenge with thisproject. Their challenge theme this month is "Dies and Punches." I hope you want to join, and please stop by the challenge blog to see what the Stamping Sensation team has to inspire you. And here is my contribution...
What vibrat colors and all over amazing Kitten Card by Birgit
As the winner I was able to choose a lovely collection of design sheets from Ignacio´s Nicecrane Designs, and of cource I wanted to use one of the motives here as Guest Designer. I love that cat! Which pretends that it does not see or hear anything. So kind and good though it is big and strong. It is GREAT to be NICE!
I've played a little with two Nestabilities Labels Seven dies for this card because I wanted it to look like a book. I have also used a Martha Stewart punch for the butterflies.
I hope you like my card and that even I have inspired you a little to use your Dies and Punches.
Finally, a peek on the inside...
Here is the used Sheet

"I didn't want to catch you"
For this card I used the boy image. I just love his expression seeing his catch, and the sentiment that is printed on the image states just that - "I didn't want to catch you".
I've kept to a blue and white color scheme, together with kraft, using papers from Authentique and Maja Designs. The postcards are made with a stamp from Prima, and the birthday sentiment is heat embossed with white EP and it's mounted onto a piece of burlap. The two seashells are brads from my stash, I used my last bit of seam binding ribbon and attached a sailboat metal charm to it. The clouds are die cut with MB dies
Jane on my DT also was working with this sheet and here you can enjoy her unique Birthday Card: I completed was a DT guest designer card for Ingacio over at Nicecrane Designs. He has some stunning new images out and the first set I wanted to use after my day in Farnham was a vintage children seaside set available here. It's called Children at the seaside.
How gorgeous is this image...here is a close up
