Vicky Fortier was working with my Bathing Postcards,,,so directly from her blog: I 'm here to share with you a summer card that I made using a fabulous image from Nicecrane Designs.I really love that vintage look!

The paper for this card is from Ahoy there - Do Craft. I used my petite labels die from Spellbinder. I added some chipboard embellishments from Basic Grey.

Here's a closer look at the fabulous precolored image and the great sentiment from Create with TLC that I

Dreaming of  Fair Woman

My friend Avril at my Dt did this absolutely elegant and vintage Card,,,,,it is really  adelcious to watch so her eis it : It's time for another Alphabet challenge and this time the letter is ' H ' for Hand-made, and we would like to see your handmade embellishments.

Stunning Victorian Card by Avril

I have used another image from Nicecrane's Dreaming of Fair Women, which was cut with a Nesti Elegant oval which was cut to fit. The papers are K & Co and my HANDMADE are my 5 roses and 2 rose leaves which were made using Martha Stewart Crafters clay. Two were made by colouring the clay with Worn lipstick Distress ink, and the paler 3 were left white and I used Tattered Rose reinker and a water brush to lightly colour these, Peeled paint ink was used for the leaves. I have a couple of these moulds now and I love making the flowers with the clay, but need to try them with embossing powders and UTEE.

Textured Japanese Card

But she was working also with my Japanese Sheets,,,,,,,here are her work: These lovely images from Nicecrane Designs came to the rescueas I needed to make a couple of cards to go in the post.I have used these beautiful oriental images called Ogata Gekko and you can see the full sheetof designs here.

My first image was printed onto ivory hammer card which gives a lovely texture to the image, I layered it with gold and black. The next layer was stamped with Versamark and then brushed with Perfect Pearls in Heirloom Gold. The sentiment 'Wisdom' was also given the PP finish, and Mizuhiki cords knotted for embellishment.

For the second card I printed a Japanese text from the internet onto vellum, which was torn and layered underneath the image, a metal embellishment and the same sentiment, again with PP, another ' flat' card as this is going in the post, to a friend who is retiring in a couple of weeks time, I thought the image was perfect as she does like her garden.
